A Meditation on World Peace

I’m a follower of a Blog called: Watching the Daisies, written by Bridig Gallagher, a published author. This post resonated with me so very much that I asked Bridig (who by the way I called ‘Daisies’) if she would mind if I Reblogged her post as I very much wanted it to reach more people. In these times of worry about the direction the world seems to be heading, I think the more of us who can practise this, the better.

Watching the Daisies

“Lord make me an instrument of thy peace,

Where there is hatred, let me sow love…”

                                                                                                                St Francis of Assisi

The world is in a great state of turmoil at the moment, and many people are fearful for their future and the future of our planet…

The opposite of fear is LOVE and my personal belief is that through LOVE we can change much that is out of balance in our world.

It may seem simplistic to think that MEDITATION can make a difference, but I know in my heart that it does…

I alone cannot change the Worl

Author: The Art of Cobwebs - aka:- thecobweboriumemporium

Hello. I'm 'Cobwebs'. I live in a wee little cottage in the South of England, aptly called Cobweb Cottage. This little dwelling really is a cobweb factory. Not inside (well, occasionally) - but outside - flipping heck! This information should give you a clue as to why my blog is called The Art of Cobwebs aka: The Cobweborium Emporium. I've been arty and crafty from a very young age, and although my crafts have sometimes turned a corner and taken me in another direction, I've always crafted in some way, shape or form. One day, in the blink of an eye, life changed somewhat for me and the consequences were many. I had to find a new way of being 'artistic'. Card making; scrap-booking; producing ATC's and ACEO's; needle felting; Polymer clay; painting- but in a more relaxed style than I had before, and sewing, - are all things which I visit, as and when life allows. I've fairy recently become a Textile Artist and am enjoying this new creative outlet very much as it offers me so much scope for letting my imagination run through a grassy field and feel the wind in my hair - (mentally, of course). I love to create. To make things. I truthfully believe that the best gifts in the world are those in which you've given your time, rather than your cash. Thank you so much for visiting. Please visit my blog (link below) and have a look around. I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy, even if it's only a handful of jokes! (yes, seriously - there really are jokes!) Wishing you a truly blessed rest of your day! ~ Cobs. <3

    1. Sending love to you Daisies, and thanking you for your permission to re-blog. I wish (and hope) that more people will do this. The world needs to put this into practise and make it part of their lives.

  1. Thank you for sharing this, what a brilliant idea. Kind thoughts, words and deeds feel so much better than unkind ones, a message I try to pass on to my own children (and the ones I teach!)

    1. Thank you Rabbit. I thought this is so very important, and we need to get as many people doing this, as possible.
Love is the only way we’re going to get out of the place the world has put itself.

    1. Can’t do anything worse, can it?
We’ve been given this wonderful garden to play in and all we had to do was play nicely with each other …. and we can’t even do that.

Maybe if we could get a lot of people, all around the world, all doing the same thing in love … maybe this would be the start of a change.
