‘Atelier’ is a French word which means ‘workshop’.
The word ‘Atelier’ is used primarily for the workshop of an artist in the fine or decorative arts.
Imagine that you’re stood outside a beautiful, vintage store, with curved windows each side of a door. This section you’re currently reading is that shop window. You can stay at the window and read the things posted below, or you can venture into the store and look in the Fairy Shoes; Fairy Message Bearers or just visit the Fairy Dresses. (Of course – you can do all four things if you wish!).
There are posts and ‘chat’ below which relate to Fairies, but if you hover your cursor over the title of this category – The Fairy Atelier – (above, along the black line under the name of the blog) – you’ll see that there are other sections within this category that you can go and peep in: ‘Fairy Message Bearers’; ‘Fairy Dresses’; and ‘Fairy Shoes’. You can click on any of those names and be taken to your chosen section where you’ll find other delights to read about, like or comment upon!
I love and welcome comments, so please feel free to make them. Simply hover your cursor over the little pale grey speech bubble which is along side the title of each new post. This will make the speech bubble turn from pale grey to ruby red. Click that speech bubble and this will make a comment box open up where you can type your comments or even ask questions. The comment you make won’t show up on the blog immediately, but if you check back later it will be there.
Come enter the garden of magical pleasure
Where fairies frolic and flowers sway
To the music of wind chimes, come at your leisure,
A treasure of magic beckons you – stay! ~ Constance Barkley Lewis ~
