Have a ~ WOOFLY day! ~ (a fun card ~ with a surprise inside)

Wishing you a Woof, Woof, Woofly Day!
Wishing you a Woof, Woof, Woofly Day!

An easy to pull together but lots of fun little card wishing the recipient a  ‘WOOFLY DAY’.   A wonderful ‘anytime’ card  as  the sentiment doesn’t tie it down to a birthday or any other day.  It could simply be a ‘just because I saw it’ card, to make someone smile.

Made on a base of Kraft Card, scored and folded, and then put together with a mix of papers,  a paper flower (two layers of petals), some red, dotty ribbon and 6 yellow buttons.  The sentiment was tapped out on a computer and printed onto some card.  Of course, me being me,  I had to have a surprise inside ….

Isn't it a Woofly Day 2

Oh mucky puppy!  Look at those muddy footprints all through that card!   Tsk tsk. Get the mop!

I hope you like the card.  Please leave a comment and  let me know.  (Feedback anywhere on my blog is very much appreciated).

Have a fabulous … no,  …  have a WOOFLY day all!

Hello. I'm 'Cobwebs'. I live in a wee little cottage in the South of England, aptly called Cobweb Cottage. This little dwelling really is a cobweb factory. Not inside (well, occasionally) - but outside - flipping heck! This information should give you a clue as to why my blog is called The Art of Cobwebs aka: The Cobweborium Emporium. I've been arty and crafty from a very young age, and although my crafts have sometimes turned a corner and taken me in another direction, I've always crafted in some way, shape or form. One day, in the blink of an eye, life changed somewhat for me and the consequences were many. I had to find a new way of being 'artistic'. Card making; scrap-booking; producing ATC's and ACEO's; needle felting; Polymer clay; painting- but in a more relaxed style than I had before, and sewing, - are all things which I visit, as and when life allows. I've fairy recently become a Textile Artist and am enjoying this new creative outlet very much as it offers me so much scope for letting my imagination run through a grassy field and feel the wind in my hair - (mentally, of course). I love to create. To make things. I truthfully believe that the best gifts in the world are those in which you've given your time, rather than your cash. Thank you so much for visiting. Please visit my blog (link below) and have a look around. I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy, even if it's only a handful of jokes! (yes, seriously - there really are jokes!) Wishing you a truly blessed rest of your day! ~ Cobs. <3

  2. We’re back in business! Thanks for that advice about the comment box – I would have never noticed that little speech bubble.
Well, I am gobsmacked at your story about ‘losing’ the card! I feel so honoured at how this has happened. Thank you soooo much for your generousity – Sarah is not only going to ADORE it, but she’ll keep it forever, including the envelope. I’ll have to remember to take a photo of her expression when she sees it.

All I can say is, the people in the West Country are triply blessed. Not only do they have better weather and fantastic seaside views, but charity shops laden with great goodies 😊 xx

    1. Aw Sharon, bless your heart. As soon as you email me your home address details, I’ll pop the card and it’s envelope into a protective envelope and send it to you. The pleasure and honour is all mine. It’s sometimes lovely to know who cards end up with. I put so much heart into each card that it’s such a bonus to me when I find out who a card has found it’s home with.
I think the Woofly card and envelope will tickle the heck out of Sarah.

Glad that you found the little grey box next to the titles of each post. They’re so pale that I can understand how folks totally miss them. I wish I could make them a darker colour, but I have no control over that bit of the ‘theme’. (but I wish I did, because I’d make them neon bright, with a flashing arrow saying ‘click to comment’. Sort of Beetlejuice mini world type of thing.) LOL 😀 ~ Cobs. x

  3. Aggh! I’m getting frustrated with myself. Your lovely email has disappeared off the face of the Earth, along with my daughter’s sandals! I’ve checked my emails, my comments and MY Stuff and I can’t find it. I remember reading it out to my hubby and marvelling at the story but alas, it has vanished. All your other posts are there but that one has decided to annoy me by disappearing. So, I’m sorry but I do not have your email address as it was in that message. I’m sorry for making you have to send it again. I can see my reply up there above yours, so where your great story about the plastic folder has gone, I do not know. (You haven’t seen a small pair of pink strappy sandals have you?) 😦

    1. Lol… Sharon, your messages tickle the heck out of me every time.

My email addy is: [now removed – I hope you picked it up Sharon]

The message that you’ve ‘lost’ is on another card post – it was when you couldn’t find how to leave messages, and I gave you the details of the little grey boxes next to post titles. But … although my reply is still there, I removed my email address after a couple of days as I don’t like to leave it up and open as it leaves my email box open to spam and rubbish being sent to me. So I left it long enough for you to make a note of it, and then made it dissapear -PUFF!- with the wave of a magic wand. 😀

  4. Ah… I see. Thank you for clarifying that. What I couldn’t understand was why it disappeared from my WordPress comments box as well as my email, but im thinking now that I never read it there in the first place. These comments only come up on these pages, so I was searching for nothing. This will teach me to be si impetuous – if I read instructions etc. before plowing straight in, then I’d know what I was doing. Now you know what I’m going to say now, don’t you? Yes you do – you’ve been waiting for it. I never got chance to take down that email. 😔😒😞😣😢😭

  5. 2nd message: Ah yes, I’m beginning to get the hang of this now. Well as I’m the one being daft, I think its only fair that I’m the one to risk showing my email address to the world. So, if I display mine here, you can then email me to say ‘hello, ive got it’, then I can send you my address. [email address noted & removed for privacy of commenter] It’s great when the ole grey cells work, init? ☺️😉 xx

    1. You have grey cells? CELLS? You mean .. you have more than one??? Sheesh! I’ve only got the one cell, and it gets really lonely sometimes. 😀

Email address received and email sent. Isn’t it great when a plan [finally] comes together? 😀
