If you want to change the World, start off by Making Your Bed!

I came across this You Tube video quite by accident and it made me choke back tears.  It’s such an incredible speech, and so, so inspiring,  that I had no choice but to share it with you.  I hope you love it as much as I  did  do.

Have a Blessed Sunday, my beautiful Blogging friends.

Hello. I'm 'Cobwebs'. I live in a wee little cottage in the South of England, aptly called Cobweb Cottage. This little dwelling really is a cobweb factory. Not inside (well, occasionally) - but outside - flipping heck! This information should give you a clue as to why my blog is called The Art of Cobwebs aka: The Cobweborium Emporium. I've been arty and crafty from a very young age, and although my crafts have sometimes turned a corner and taken me in another direction, I've always crafted in some way, shape or form. One day, in the blink of an eye, life changed somewhat for me and the consequences were many. I had to find a new way of being 'artistic'. Card making; scrap-booking; producing ATC's and ACEO's; needle felting; Polymer clay; painting- but in a more relaxed style than I had before, and sewing, - are all things which I visit, as and when life allows. I've fairy recently become a Textile Artist and am enjoying this new creative outlet very much as it offers me so much scope for letting my imagination run through a grassy field and feel the wind in my hair - (mentally, of course). I love to create. To make things. I truthfully believe that the best gifts in the world are those in which you've given your time, rather than your cash. Thank you so much for visiting. Please visit my blog (link below) and have a look around. I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy, even if it's only a handful of jokes! (yes, seriously - there really are jokes!) Wishing you a truly blessed rest of your day! ~ Cobs. <3

  1. Bravo!
I have seen this before….then a few days later it was announced that we shouldn’t make the bed until time to get back in. Something about letting all the “bugs” air out. LOL More confusion! Don’t we need more confusion? Love you on this our Mothers day. xoxo

    1. Ahh, HAPPY USA MOTHERS DAY to you Bev. (Mothers Day here in the United Kingdom was March 11th.) I hope you had a truly lovely day.

I’ve always tended to kind of ‘make the bed’, but I don’t ‘make’ it. I turn back the covers, so that the bed gets time to ‘breathe’. Then a while later, the bed get’s made.

I hope the rest of your day is filled with love and hugs.

    1. Hello Chicken. 😀
I had never seen this before, so it was totally new to me. It was just too good to keep to myself, so I had to share it here, and so glad that I did.

      Thanks for coming Chicken. 🙂

  2. Love this! Inspirational! 🙂 xxx

(btw…I turn the bed back to air, leave it 15 minutes then remake it using “hospital” corners as my mother showed me..having first turfed all the cats out of it!)

    1. Hello Samantha 😀
When I came across this video I just had to share it. Glad you liked it.

I’m like you… turn the bed back for a while to let it air and breathe, then it gets properly ‘made’. Cats aren’t allowed on the bed, because their shed hair brings me out in an itchy rash, which has, in the past, seen me stripping the bed in the middle of the night and remaking with fresh linen, so that I stop itching and scratching! Uhhh!!

Have a fabulous Friday my lovely friend. ~ Cobs. xxx

      1. I don’t mind cats on the bed – I object to them in the bed..with their toys..and muddy feet… I have on occasion woken up with a catnip mousie welded firmly to my cheek… 🙂 xxx
