We have a WINNER!

A few days ago I shared  a Tag Card I’d made and thought we could have a bit of fun by doing a ‘give away’ of that actual Tag Card which you see in the photo.  If anyone wanted to join in all they had to do was to comment with the word  GIVEAWAY  in their comment, and I’d include them as being one of the people who might like to be the owner of this card.

Shown here without the easel, but the easel is included as part of the Tag Card Give Away.

Using the word GIVEAWAY typed as all one word, to enter the Give Away – meant that I could find entries easily by just searching for that work on the page.

Earlier on I closed the entries, and made a list of all the names of the people who’d entered, giving each name a number, as I went down the list of people.  These are the people who entered GIVEAWAY into their comment, along with their numbers …

  1.    marijo1245 (can’t find a link for your blog Marijo – sorry)
  2.    Florence
  3.    PaperPuff
  4.    Mrs P
  5.    ChickenGrandma
  6.    Artisan Duck

Then, I went to the Random Number Generator website and asked it to do it’s job and pick us a winner for the Tag Card.  . . . .  [drumroll] . . . .

And the winner is:

11th-oct-rng-for-times-nouveau-tag-giveaway

In case you’re not Lee Majors and don’t have Bionic Man/Woman eyes … here’s a close up of the number which was generated:

The winning number is NUMBER 4 … which means  . . .  [drumroll] . . . .  THE WINNER IS ….  Mrs P!

Many congratulations Mrs. P.  I’m absolutely chuffed to pieces for you.  I’ll contact you and let you know about sending me your snail mail address so that I can send this to you.

Well that’s our second Give Away and I don’t know about you but.. I loved it!

It’s a lovely bit of fun between us blogging friends.  . . .   and because there aren’t that many people entering, the law of chances tells us that you’re bound to win at some stage – you just have to enter.  (. . . And if you’ve seen my other post today, you can see what happens when you put your name into the mix and hope to win!) So what d’ya think?  Shall we do it again soon?

Congratulations again to Mrs.P.

Sending squidges to all of you in your corners, from me here in mine ~

Author: The Art of Cobwebs - aka:- thecobweboriumemporium

Hello. I'm 'Cobwebs'. I live in a wee little cottage in the South of England, aptly called Cobweb Cottage. This little dwelling really is a cobweb factory. Not inside (well, occasionally) - but outside - flipping heck! This information should give you a clue as to why my blog is called The Art of Cobwebs aka: The Cobweborium Emporium. I've been arty and crafty from a very young age, and although my crafts have sometimes turned a corner and taken me in another direction, I've always crafted in some way, shape or form. One day, in the blink of an eye, life changed somewhat for me and the consequences were many. I had to find a new way of being 'artistic'. Card making; scrap-booking; producing ATC's and ACEO's; needle felting; Polymer clay; painting- but in a more relaxed style than I had before, and sewing, - are all things which I visit, as and when life allows. I've fairy recently become a Textile Artist and am enjoying this new creative outlet very much as it offers me so much scope for letting my imagination run through a grassy field and feel the wind in my hair - (mentally, of course). I love to create. To make things. I truthfully believe that the best gifts in the world are those in which you've given your time, rather than your cash. Thank you so much for visiting. Please visit my blog (link below) and have a look around. I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy, even if it's only a handful of jokes! (yes, seriously - there really are jokes!) Wishing you a truly blessed rest of your day! ~ Cobs. <3

        1. That was going to be my next question … do you want the card signed to you, from me…. or do you want the card blank so that you can send it to someone else and signed from you?

What a close bond we have. We’ll start finishing each others ….
          😉

        2. No worries about not “getting back to me”… I don’t expect anyone to reply straight away, and besides which I was late getting to you so it’s kind of my fault.

OOOOooooOOOooo “Quality Assurance”! If it involves tasting chocolates … can we please be besties?

What a GREAT IDEA! We should all do these fun give aways. It kind of makes the world of crafting go round beautifully, and adds a little salt and pepper to all our blogging friendships.
There’s nothing like receiving Happy Mail through the post.

Great idea Mrs P. I like the way you think.

    1. I totally agree… she is indeed very lovely, and I love her for being lovely.

There will be another bit of fun soon… so you can throw your name into the cap and cross your fingers (or as I orginally typed there … ‘your gingers’)

There are so few who want to play that you’re bound to win soon. …… and if you don’t I’ll send you something you didn’t win.

leave it right there cobs. say no more.
